Gaja Vittoria Pellizzari combines stylistic precision with a highly expressive stage presence. In 2026, she expanded her Rossini repertoire with the role of Ernestina in L’occasione fa il ladro, which she performed at the Kraków Philharmonic and at the Rossini Festival in Bad Wildbad. She also took on the role of Lucia in Rossini’s La gazza ladra at the Kraków Opera and at the Rossini Festival in Bad Wildbad, in a production recorded by OperaVision. At the Kraków Philharmonic, she also performed the role of Marina in Emilio Arrieta’s zarzuela Marina.
She previously made her debut as Aminta in Vivaldi’s L’Olimpiade at the Teatro Comunale Mario del Monaco in Treviso with I Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca, where her vocal virtuosity and intense interpretation were praised by the critics.
In 2025, she expanded her repertoire with her debut as Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the TU Orchester Wien. At the same time, she devoted herself to contemporary music, performing in Kurt Schmid’s oratorio Ode an das Leben with the Savaria Symphony Orchestra in Vienna. That same year, she appeared at the Innsbruck Festival, was a finalist in the ZukunftsStimmen competition founded by Elīna Garanča, and performed at the Ruse March Music Days in Bulgaria. At Vienna’s Borromäus Saal, she also performed Haydn’s Scena di Berenice with the VielHarmoniker orchestra as part of a benefit concert.
The year 2024 marked an important milestone in her artistic development. She received a Special Prize at the Cesti Competition and took on the title role in the modern premiere of Fux’s oratorio Regina Saba at the Austrian Academy of Sciences under the direction of Stefan Gottfried. For this project, she was awarded the Fux Prize. In the same year, she was selected for the Accademia Vivaldi of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice, where she deepened her knowledge of historical performance practice in Baroque music.
Alongside her operatic career, she is deeply committed to chamber music and develops thematic concert programmes together with pianist Alessandro Del Gobbo. Projects such as DE MULIERIBUS: Donne, Streghe e Sirene and Souvenirs d’Europe reflect a strong curatorial and artistic vision. She has presented these programmes at festivals including Carniarmonie, the Festival Internazionale di Musica Sacra, Mittelcult and Filosofia in Città.
